Fortnite - Early Game Tips and Tricks for Player
Looks for tips and the best way to play the beginning of games. Most of my death comes from the first two minutes of games where I get a small fighting chance, if I can last out I normally do well, I just struggle with the beginning of games. If you have the choice of landing at a gun or a chest, take the gun. A chest takes time to open and pick up the gun - but if you land at the gun, you can kill whoever's taken the chest before they get the chance to attack you. Make sure you're opening your chute over the lowest ground possible to still be able to reach your desired landing zone. It'll let you land sooner and have the advantage of looting first.
Your most valuable weapons in the early game are SMGs, then shotguns then burst rifles, then ARs, then pistols. If you have the opportunity to land at an SMG, do it. Neverland on meds, a llama, traps, a launch pad, etc. You want a gun. Meds and launch pads are great, but they can't keep you alive long if you can't defend yourself.
You don't often have much ammo when you first land. Be smart with how you use it. Don't take stupid shots. Someone on the other side of Pleasant Park isn't a real danger to you, don't waste your ammo and materials in a fight with them. They don't have much loot yet, they're not worth the investment. You'll both burn through mats and ammo and once you kill them, there won't be anything left for you to use. Fight the people near you, kill them, and don't take fights you don't need to.
By that, I mean that (as I said) your loot is limited in the beginning. If you see two people fighting, stay out of it until either one is dead, or they're both too engaged with each other to worry about you. Ideally, you want one to be dead and the other to be looting the body, then you hit them from short-mid range with an AR or SMG.
By the way, drum guns are included in SMGs, and they're the most versatile of them. Regular SMGs are better for ultra close range, and silenced SMGs are great for getting stealthy kills from natural cover (behind a corner, a fence, in a bush, etc) without burning mats or health.
Tactical shotguns are better than pumps in the early game (and all game, in my opinion). You get 8 shots without reloading, versus 5. That means something when you don't have a good secondary weapon. Also, a tac shotgun is still effective without a secondary - a pump isn't. A heavy is better than either one, but the tac is a close second (only until you get a secondary).
Mats are scarce in the early game. Don't do that fancy ramp-floor-wall shit, you'll be out of mats in two layers at best. Ramp-wall is the most advanced building technique you should do at the beginning, stick to just ramps if you can. Hell, if you get shot out, they'll be low on ammo or having to reload, might not have a good secondary - which you can take advantage of. Getting shot down isn't necessarily a bad thing in the early game, as long as you don't go too low.
Also, DON'T med up or loot in the open. It only takes a couple walls to keep someone from picking you off when you're weak or distracted after a fight.
Natural high ground and houses/buildings are great. They're sturdy, you won't get shot down unless someone has a grenade launcher or C4, which is just bad luck, but might mean they don't have much else in the way of weapons yet.
Stink bombs are good for flushing people out. Don't leave me behind. Same with grenades, clingers, C4, etc.
Ordinarily, they are not worth the problems for causes which can be adequate in the lengthy run. Whilst they are useful for players who may well know nothing in regards to the game. For essentially the most portion, they are mastering tools for newcomers to ease them into the game. For a lot more Fortnite Tips And Guides, it is possible to check out U4GM.com.
